Brembo developed special floating racing brake discs for competition, and these are now also finding their way onto the road. The material used here is identical to the brake disc material used by most teams in MotoGP wet conditions, the Superbike World Championship and the Supersport World Championship. These high-performance brake discs provide completely consistent braking under all conditions. They deliver their highest braking performance with Brembo Z04 pads, but can also be used with Brembo SA and LA compounds! No different brake calipers are needed on your motorcycle to use the Brembo High-Performance brake disc; you can continue using the standard calipers. If you want to upgrade your braking system further, however, Brembo High-Performance calipers (220A...) or Brembo M4 monobloc calipers are a clear recommendation!
