Product information "Lower shock absorber rubber bush Yamaha XJR1200-XJR1300 95-01, 4KG222160000 BUSH, REAR SHOCK ABSORBER"
Lower shock absorber mounting rubber bush for Yamaha XJR1200 4PU 1995-1998 & XJR1300 RP02 1999-2001 with Yamaha OEM shock absorbers (with black springs, not suitable for Öhlins shock absorbers on SP models), 4KG222160000 BUSH, REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
The rubber bushes deteriorate over time and develop play, adversely affecting handling because suspension travel occurs without damping. The rear suspension also becomes uncomfortable on uneven roads. When replacing them, we recommend changing the inner sleeve (part no.: 5M0222530000) at the same time, as these are often rusty.
