SA sintered road brake pads with ABE for Yamaha XJR 1200 & XJR 1300

Brembo SA & SP pads for Yamaha XJR 1200 & XJR 1300

Both sintered road compounds are popular for sporting riding. They complement one another and provide balanced, durable and precise braking on the heavy XJR.

SA front pads

SA is among Brembo's sporting road compounds, designed for the XJR's front calipers. It provides strong braking, direct response and high thermal stability, particularly on sporting roads or long descents.

Benefits include strong cold and warm braking, a sporting pressure point with clear control, high resistance to fading and suitability for the XJR's weight and torque.

SP rear pads

SP is the matching rear compound. A controllable rear brake helps maintain stability on fast corners and mountain roads. SP combines progressive feel with high thermal capacity.

It gives controllable rear braking, complements SA front pads, remains durable in sporting use and suits the XJR system.

Brembo pads & discs together

Because Brembo supplies original discs on many XJRs, SA and SP work particularly well with Brembo discs. Matching heat distribution, material hardness and friction characteristics supports a balanced system.

The links below show Serie Oro front and rear discs. SA and SP offer a sporting, precise and durable braking setup with stronger braking and control than many original pads.
