Operation & installation

The fuel level sender uses a float mechanism that moves according to the fuel level in the tank. The float position is transmitted electrically to the instruments and displayed as the fuel level.

It fits in the original position in the tank. Replacement is generally straightforward with the tank drained or removed.

Note on the gasket

The fuel level sender gasket is not included. If the existing gasket has hardened or is damaged, it should always be replaced at the same time to prevent leaks.
