Product information "Tuning kit / carburettor kit Yamaha XJR1200"

Hardly any motorcycle lends itself to tuning more than the XJR. Power figures of 120-150 BHP are no problem! Even simple measures can release considerably more power.

Our most affordable set is Kit 1 (the illustration shows Kit 2 for the XJR 1200), which achieves approximately 8-10BHP extra power. The next stage is Kit 2; it consists of Kit 1 plus unrestricted inlet manifolds. This kit can achieve 12-15BHP extra power over standard. Please bear in mind that all standard XJRs already produce between 106 and 112 BHP, rather than the stated 98 BHP.

Figures of 135 BHP are also often mentioned, but these are not relevant, as it is the measurement before and after that matters. One thing we can promise, though: you will be delighted with the power increase!

The carburettor/tuning kit comes with detailed fitting instructions that explain every step clearly. With good mechanical skills, fitting is straightforward. Please contact us if you have any questions!

A TÜV component report is available ONLY for the XJR 1300 RP02 model from 1999-2001, not for the XJR 1200! No tuning kit has ABE approval.
