Brembo developed special floating racing brake discs for motorsport, which are now also finding their way onto the road. The material used here is identical to that of the brake discs used by most racing teams in MotoGP wet conditions, the World Superbike Championship and the World Supersport Championship. These high-performance brake discs provide absolutely consistent braking under all conditions. The discs achieve their highest braking performance with Brembo Z04 brake pads, but can also be used with Brembo SA and LA compounds! No different brake calipers are required on your machine to use Brembo High-Performance brake discs; the standard calipers can remain in use. However, if you would like to upgrade your braking system further, Brembo High-Performance calipers (220A...) or Brembo M4 monobloc calipers are a clear recommendation!
