This fork repair kit for the Yamaha XJR 1200 & XJR 1300 is suitable for all XJR models and is the ideal solution if the front fork has lost precision over the years or already shows clear signs of wear.
The new fork guide bushes restore clean, precise guidance of the fork legs. They reliably prevent wear on the stanchions and the formation of scoring often caused by worn guides.
Fork guides should be checked regularly, particularly at higher mileages. Regular replacement of the fork oil is equally important to remove wear particles from the fork. If these particles remain in the system, they can lodge in the guides and cause further damage to the stanchions.
