As already described for the shock absorbers, Hyperpro has become a major name in suspension, as demonstrated by their fork springs, shock springs and combined spring kits. With Hyperpro springs for the XJR 1200 and XJR 1300 you can choose fork springs supplied as a set with matching oil, shock springs that simply replace the XJR’s standard springs, or the combined spring kit containing fork springs with oil and replacement rear springs. Whichever XJR spring kit you choose, it always comes with very good fitting instructions and precise setting instructions that make adjusting the springs on the XJR easier. No other manufacturer offers this service. Fork springs are always supplied with matching fork oil, so the manufacturer also ensures that the specified settings work as intended. As already mentioned, these springs suit the XJR extremely well. For sporty riders, Hyperpro’s strongly progressive springs are perfect. They manage to cover a very wide range, making them very well suited to different rider weights and load conditions. Our road tests with Hyperpro springs in the XJR 1300 RP02 confirm significantly improved handling! You finally get feedback from the front wheel and feel the road beneath the motorcycle! If you are fairly light (e.g. 70kg), we recommend Wilbers springs, as their set-up is slightly softer.
Fitting note: SAE 20 OIL (1 litre), air gap 170mm
All Hyperpro springs have an ABE (German general operating permit) and do not require entry in the vehicle documents.

Absolut empfehlenswert
Ich habe die Hyperpro-Federn an meiner RP02 verbaut - das Fahrverhalten ist wie verwandelt. Die Gabel ist jetzt wesentlich straffer als die Serie und ohne unkomfortabel zu sein. Durch das geringere Eintauchen ist die Front jetzt auch beim scharfen Einbremsen vor Kurven stabiler. Auch die Pendelneigung war bei meinen fast abgefahrenen Reifen spürbar geringer. Die Montageanleitung ist hervorragend gemacht. Aufpassen muss man nur bei folgendem Punkt: Hyperpro schreibt eine größere Luftkammer vor als Yamahas Werksangaben. Wer das beachtet (steht auf der letzten Seite der Anleitung) kommt auch mit der mitgelieferten Ölmenge von 1 Liter klar. Alles in allem: Absolut empfehlenswertes Fahrwerks-upgrade zu einem fairen Preis.

Hallo Jürgen, herzlichen Dank für die gute und detaillierte Rückmeldung! Ja, das SAE 20 Gabelöl erscheint erst mal recht steif zu sein, aber in Kombination mit den Hyperpro Federn passt es perfekt! Die Rückmeldung die die Gabel liefert ist WESENTLICH besser als mit den Serienfedern! Und Dein Hinweis auf die Einbauanleitung und die Ölmenge ist bei Gabelfedern immer wichtig, da die Ölmenge immer auf die Federn abgestimmt ist. Somit kann beim Gabelfederwechsel an sich NIE die Ölmenge des Fahrzeugherstellers angenommen werden. Immer auf die Angabe des Federherstellers achten! Die Ölmenge / die Luftkammer ist auch auf der Seite des Gabelfederkartons beschrieben. Liebe Grüße, Klaus
