Scrambler seat Yamaha XJR 1200 / XJR 1300, made in GERMANY!
Our scrambler seat is designed as a replacement seat for all XJR1200, XJR1300 & XJR 1300C models from 4PU 1995 to RP194 2016. The seat is available in three different designs: standard black, quilted black (quilted seating area) and three-colour with a quilted seating area. When designing the seat, we placed great importance on riding comfort. The seating area is ergonomically shaped for the rider and also very suitable for long tours on the Yamaha XJR!
The seat can also be ordered with a cut-out for our aluminium mudguard or without a cut-out. The seat is fully leather-covered. This Yamaha XJR scrambler seat uses the original mounting points on the rear subframe, allowing the seat to be secured with the original latch. However, the lock mounting must be relocated in this case, as the rear subframe must be shortened by approximately 15cm. We recommend using our scrambler frame brace (part no. 77-1029), which also provides mounting points for the aluminium mudguard and indicators. Alternatively, you can use the café racer frame brace if you do not want to use an aluminium mudguard. This brace is made from stainless steel and inserts into the open frame tubes, where it is clamped rather than welded. TÜV does not like welding on the rear subframe, but if the inspector nevertheless prefers welding, this is also possible! The Rizoma number plate holder with indicator mounts attaches to this frame brace. If no separate rear light is wanted, a combined indicator/tail light/brake light from Rizoma (Club "S"), Kellermann or Highsider can simply be used on the number plate holder.
Every seat is individually handmade in Germany. This allows us to realise different designs or colour preferences for you. However, it also means that the seats are individually made for you and have a delivery time of approximately 3-4 weeks.
Please enquire about colours or any further questions by email, or preferably discuss them with us by telephone.
