The rear springs are very well matched to the shock absorbers, creating a significantly better spring/damper combination than the XJR’s standard suspension units. The suspension improvement is particularly substantial with the Yamaha standard shock absorbers (with black springs, XJR 1200 / 1300 up to 2001). However, a clear improvement can also be achieved with the Öhlins shock absorbers (part number: 14-1094). They are particularly better suited to increased loads (higher weights). For us, Hyperpro springs are one of the best suspension improvements on a small budget. They cannot replace high-quality, fully adjustable suspension components, but they can get the best out of the standard suspension on a limited budget. Naturally, we can also combine shock absorber optimisation with the rear springs to achieve even better handling. Please enquire if required! All Hyperpro springs have ABE (German general operating approval) and require no entry in the vehicle documents.
